We had an email in from Marie Boran at the Irish times about an article she is writing on how families deal with the social media accounts of a loved one who has passed away.

Here is what Maria sent in and if anyone wants to get in touch about it, here is her contact details: marie.boran@gmail.com and (0)86 8103397

"Right now I'm working on a piece for the Irish Times looking at this and I want to give it what it deserves - a human, personal aspect. This is why I reached out to people on social media because I think readers will all have thought about this to some extent, perhaps a family member or friend has passed away or they are thinking about writing their will and wondering what will happen to their online presence when they are gone. If you have been in this position and would like to share your experience on whether or not you closed a loved ones Twitter, Facebook account etc. please get in touch'

thanks, Marie
