Hi all. As title states, am in here for suicidal thoughts and plans. They have me in high observation. I am diagnosed with a form of bi-polar and the quetapine I'm on has so far not stopped my rapid mood swings from high to low.

i hope that you get the help and care you need. it can take a while to get medications right hopefully they will have you back on track in no time.

Thankyou guys- I was afraid to scare ppl off by my post so many thanks for ur replies it's a long day in here! Mostly trying to have hope and persevere- starting on lithium tonight God bless thanks again hope my post helps others!

High observation is normally a grand place to recover in and the staff are lovely. Unfortunately for the rest of us, our sleep has been broken several times tonight by a schizophrenic lady with outbursts of violence and screaming! She kicks and hammers down the nurse's station until they bundle her by force into a room and lock her in- where we have to listen to her loud ranting. She already told the lovely staff that they're a miserable bunch who need a jolly roggering to cheer them up.

Let's not to forget to mention yesterday afternoon when laying down on my bed, I heard manic lady in the next room jumping on her bed for 15 minutes. Eventually she exhausted herself and after panting very loudly from her efforts she let out a sigh.
