My friend was at an exercise class on thursday night & had a heart attack during it.the doctors couldnt get her back for 45minutes they have her sedated & are hoping to try & wake her tomorrow but they dont know as yet if she will be brain damaged or not.i am in complete shock & so worried as to what the outcome will be.

.im not really religious but if anyone wants to say a prayer or send positive thoughts Lil's way it would be appreciated very much

Shes only 40.They tried to wake her yesterday but she didnt come round she was twitching so they resedated her & will try to wake her again tomorrow.her mum said the Dr wasnt giving her any hope.if she doesnt wake today they are going to run scans to see if there is any brain activity.

My heart is breaking, her dad has very advanced dementia so he hasnt been told whats happened to her.

Dr said brain scan shows brain damage but they dont know how much.they said most people would have woken up by now but that they are going to give her more time.they have changed medication as it was making her have fits & have sedated her again.her mum said Dr not giving any hope.

Its just so sad,im devastated- she is a strong person so im hoping that she will be one of those patients that surprises all the doctors & makes a miraculous recovery.

I cannot even imagine how awful this is. I was at an exercise class this morning and I was taking it easy but it makes you think, it can happen to anyone. God love her and her family.

Oh haileysmum I'm so sorry for both you and your friend. I lost my best friend unexpectedly when I was 24 so I have some idea what you are going through. It was her 16th anniversary yesterday. All I can say at thus time is I'm sorry. Mind yourself, its a very dark and difficult time. Bug hugs to you.

So so sorry Haileysmam. Its just so hard to grasp that someone so young could have died like this.

I am thinking of you and your friend and her family too at this terrible terrible time.

Big hugs. x

Its just so tragically sad.Was on to Lils mum today.the coronary office rang & her sister & neice & nephews need to get ECGs in case its a hereditary heart condition.they cant register the death till friday & then they can talk to funeral home.they still havent told her dad,he sounds so far gone with dementia that i dont think he would even understand what they are telling him.
