Bang on the Temple Post a reply

Our 5 year old daughter fell in the school yard today and banged her temple. Because of where she banged it, the school called us to take her home.

We have her home now and she is in ok form but was complaining that it was sore, so I gave her some Calpol and food and she is sitting watching some TV now.

She seems ok but I am wondering, if the bump gets much bigger, should we ice it or not? I have heard conflicting reports about whether or not to ice a bump on the head.

any advice would be great, thanks

Gosh I don't know sabbi I would have iced but hadn't heard not too how is she?

She's grand. She had a cry during the night but she said that was a bad dream so it was all ok this morning. Hopefully anyway - she seems grand!!!
