Varicose Vein - anyone got any advice/experience? Post a reply

I've noticed a varicose vein in my left leg, on my shin. It has been slowly becoming more noticeable of late and over the past month or so, has come to the surface more. Its getting a bit noticeable now and I am wondering, should I do something about it?

Is it anything to worry about?

I don't really know much about this so would appreciate some advice.

I have had surgery 2x for this over the years. Once was vein stripping both legs about 6 years ago and then lower leg (below knee) laser surgery on one leg only.

If it's hurting you, I would see a vein specialist as they won't go away and the heat will make them worse!
