We got cabin beds for our daughters 4 years ago and while they were not cheap, they have worked out great and are very good value. The beds we got includes chest of drawers underneath, book shelf on the end, pull out station where they can store away toys (loom bands boxes etc) and a desk where they can colour and do their homework.

These beds will be for the girls until they move out of home, so they were a long term investment. They are a clever way to make the best use of space in a bedroom and the guys who we got them from, http://www.lovefurniture.ie/ delivered free of charge and put them together.
