is anyone going to the races this summer? we've gone a few times and really enjoyed it and thinking of going to one or two this year. its a great day out and even though l am clueless about betting horses, we had great craic when we went. we broke even at the end of it, which is grand for a clueless better like me!

l love getting dressed up for it too - Dundalk races will be on in July and if anyone is looking for style tips, check this out, should be fun: https://www.facebook.com/events/446778265468140/ and then the races are on: http://www.dundalkstadium.com/

Bellewstown is another good one to go to. It's good craic for a day out and kids are welcome too. see : http://www.bellewstownraces.ie/

just a little something fun to do in July if anyone looking ideas. :)

Love going to the races. We were at the family day in Punchestown recently - AES always gives us tickets. If you can get races with family days there is lots on to entertain the kids. In Punchestown, they had a huge shed full of bouncy castles, face painting and arts and crafts for the kids and it was free.

Bellewstown, I have been going since I was a toddler - great craic. Though you would need full pockets if the kids want to go near the rides!!!
