Friends of Breastfeeding Art Exhibition

As part of our celebration of World Breastfeeding Week 2010, Friends of Breastfeeding are delighted to announce that we are holding an exhibition of artwork which will include original paintings and photographs portraying the beauty, normality and naturalness of breastfeeding.

Friends of Breastfeeding wish to invite you, your family and friends to join us in our celebrations which will be opened by Maureen Fallon, National Breastfeeding Co-ordinator for the HSE.

Launch:
We would love if you could attend the launch of the exhibition on Wednesday, 4th August 2010 in the Outpatients Dept, Holles St Hospital at 10:30am. There will be refreshments provided.

Exhibition:
The exhibition will be held in Holles St on 4th & 5th August, from 10am to 4pm.

Artwork:
The exhibition is made up of a range of original paintings and photographs. Two artists have painted pieces especially for this exhibition. Photographs are from a photoshoot run by Friends of Breastfeeding in Collins Barracks in September 2009.

Other plans:
Our intention is to use these artworks and many others in a range of artwork exhibitions across the country for National Breastfeeding Week 2010 in conjunction with plans for “The Big Latch On”. We would love to discuss these ideas further with you at the exhibition.
